The Good
Massive Company, Strong Financial Backing • Ability to combine insurance plans into one policyThe Bad
Do not really offer one on one service •Overview
Geico is a huge insurance provider offering a variety of products including auto, life, home, boat, RV and other types of insurance services. Geico is very famous for their Gecko and humorous commercials with him in it.
Geico is not a joke though, they mean serious business. Geico offers top quality products and has for many years. Their agents know everything and anything you could possibly ask and are willing to help.
Policies / Plans

There is not much information on their website however an agent did explain their insurance types. They offer a basic term life insurance policy that lasts terms in multiples of 5 years. They are very common and often are purchased in 10 or 20 years.
Geico also offers universal life insurance. It lasts for ones entire life and accumulates a cash value. The agent did not go into much more detail and the website did not provide much more information specifically regarding it.
Pricing / Rates

For a basic plan, Geico offered competitive premiums. For a term life insurance policy, Geico offered me a $214 premium payment. This was for an extremely basic plan though. Universal life insurance policies were a little pricier then other companies, but the return was competitive.
Getting A Quote

It was easy receiving a quote from Geico. Fill out their online application form and it will take you no longer then a few minutes to receive a quote. It only took 8 minutes for me to receive my quote.
Customer Service

Geico's customer service is good and bad. It is good in the sense that their agents are knowledgeable and very helpful. However, because Geico is such a large company, you don't often receive that dedicated service agent like you would with a smaller or local life insurance provider. If you can get over that and don't mind waiting for a few minutes on the phone, Geico has solid customer service.
Summary

Geico is another solid pick as a life insurance provider. The ability to merge multiple types of insurance into one premium payment is a nice feature. It would be better if Geico could provide more specific information on their website so you wouldn't have to go search for it. However, their customer service is good and they are a well known company with a strong financial background. Overall, they are above-average and it wouldn't hurt to receive a free quote from them.
